Idiosync

Idiosync are a new band from different parts of Redditch. A neighbour of mine infact. They started off back in August 2008 and have quickly risen to be one of the “top acts” in Redditch, gaining all round respect for their unique sound.

They didn’t have a website, and were using myspace/facebook/youtube/ilike and etc to update fans. A good way to do it but still pretty time consuming. So I suggested I build them a website.

It was built with WordPress (as is this website). The look of feel is design with CSS. The initial design was taken from the header image, which they originally used for Twitter. The rest was just a breeze. It also uses WordPress plugins for the Youtube videos, Flickr images, Contact Form and Discography. It was built specifically for the Redditch Festival as a “test” based on my behalf for Social Media (hence the rush job). The site works with iPhone WordPress, allows you to update it on the move, upload images on the move, and Youtube video content if you have that ability on your phone.

Utilises most aspects of the most popular social networks.
