Counteract Magazine

I was approached for this project by online fanzine editor, Richard Franks. His webzine was already gaining a decent fanbase on a standard WordPress.com blog installation, but he required better, and something more accustomed to how his zine image should look.

We spent a good few weeks brainstorming ideas on how the new site should look, and eventually used the one which is now live. I mixed this with various slideshow gallery elements to present a professional image, as well as inviting people to pay more attention to the content and hopefully reading on.

Since completion of the site, Counteract Magazine has been entered for an award in home town Birmingham. Velvet Grooves would like to wish them good luck :)
