Web Design, Digital Marketing & Consultancy...

Incoming

I’ve been working on bits and pieces behind the scenes at Velvet Grooves. I’m actually going to update the site soon so you can see whats been going on.

I’ve done a digital store for Charlotte Hatherely via Little Sister Records. Lovely people to work with! There has also been a complete network for Sophie Garner as well who were also great to work with. That was a complete Myspace/Facebook/Twitter/Bebo/Imeem (and others) strung together to form her “new” communication method to work with fans. I’ll be updating that for her via Velvet Grooves.

I’m also working on a complete website/social network ring for Enraptured Records. This is the biggest project currently on Velvet as it was built from scratch, to a brief, filled with 50 or so records being sold on both Paypal and Digital. Not just that but with a Myspace overlay and other network tools to go with it. This will be an example of what type of service I offer here.

Next year I will be working on actual promotions. A couple of people have asked for ideas on promotional schemes for getting their records out, which seems like an interesting proposition. And with Secret Hymn being constructed, we’re looking into this as well for our own releases, so it seems feasible to add it to Velvet as a service.

Oh, and the record label? Yeah looks like we’re getting somewhere with that as well. We will make the site live once we finalize details. :) Extremely excited on that one!

For now though, any questions, feel free to stick them in the comments, or email meggsp@gmail.com.
For label questions, try info@secrethymn.co.uk or follow me/Matt on Twitter via @velvet_grooves / @madeofsteam (until I make the Secret Hymn stuff live).

Cheers!

Paul
